A WPI Tool is a handy device for fiber enthusiasts. WPI is being used by designers and yarn manufacturers when specifying their designs or yarn characteristics. If two yarns have the same WPI they can be exchanged within a given pattern.
This WPI Guide:
– Is made from Hand selected materials and has a lacquer finish.
– Measures 4.5″ in length x 2″ wide and 3/8″ thick.
– Has the markings carved into the wood so they will not wear off.
– Has an ergonomic design and easy to hang or slip into a pocket.
– Is made in the USA.
To use this guide:
Wrap smoothly, with the yarn touching but not too tight. Once you’ve wrapped, calculate your number of wraps per inch (or WPI).
